Located on the coast in Orange County, CA, just between Huntington Beach and Long Beach, Seal Beach is a smaller community where the quaint, small-town atmosphere of early  sea-side town can still be felt.  Although the city is mainly comprised of three small neighborhoods wrapped around the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, old town is down on the Pacific, and considered one of the choice locations in the county.  With a population of only 25,098, Seal Beach is perfect for individuals, families, and retirees seeking safe, established neighborhoods, a beautiful setting, comfortable climate, and great schools, all within close proximity to all the major attractions of Southern California.

Seal Beach offers prospective home buyers a diverse variety of housing opportunities, whether it be a country-club development or beach-front cottage.  North of the naval base and Interstate 405 you will find a country club subdivision with one and two-story homes built in the last 20 years. The homes are well-maintained, attractive and nicely landscaped, and residents have access to three small parks within the neighborhood.

Next to this community is Leisure World, a popular, gated senior citizen community of approximately 7-10,000 persons. Here residents have access to a golf course, library, and numerous senior activities.

On the southwest of Seal Beach is the old town, bisected by Pacific Coast Highway, which offers a combination of one, two, three and four bedrooms homes, many of which are custom built to the owner's personal style. A few of these include Moorish, colonial, and olde English with gables, but no matter what how the home is designed, home owner's make sure they are in the best of condition and eye-catching to neighbors and visitors alike.

On the opposite side of the highway, next to the ocean, you will find a blend of apartments, condos and homes. Of the homes, many have been remodeled with striking features and architecture, only adding to the area's value and appeal.
